Fall book group: 

Good Boundaries and Goodbyes

Do you like to read self help books and wish you had someone to talk to about what you read? Book groups offer a great opportunity for you to experience a new form of self-care and exploration while also helping you shape your social perspective. Through engaging in group discussions filled with fresh insights, members can learn from one another and grow together.

Our first group is a perfect first group. Everyone can apply the principles in this book. We will read Lysa Terkeurst's book Good Boundaries and Goodbyes, Loving Others Without Losing the Best of Who You Are. 

If you are a current client, please email the office to be added to the group. If you are new to Season for Change, please complete the form for registration.

When: Group will meet weekly for 6 weeks, Thursdays 11-12, starting September 26, 2024 (If interest demands, a second group will be formed to meet in the evenings- please reach out if interested)

Meetings will be virtual and you will receive the link via email prior to the first meeting.

 

Cost: $150 (or $25 per group meeting) 

The book is NOT provided so please plan accordingly and order in advance.

The 7 Principles Workshop materials are based on the internationally acclaimed research of Dr. John Gottman as presented in the book The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. Couples learn to manage conflict, enhance romance and intimacy,  improve friendship and admiration and a host of other skills.​

**This workshop is appropriate for couples contemplating engagement, pre-marital couples, couples living together and for couples who have been together for years. ​

**This workshop is NOT appropriate for couples in severe relationship distress, significant emotional or physical abuse, serious emotional or mental health problems, couples where one or both partners are actively addicted to drugs/alcohol and relationships with serious compulsive behaviors (gambling, sexual acting out, and other disruptive behaviors). If your relationship falls in this category, I encourage you to reach out to begin couples therapy. ​​
